Hi all
I wasn't sure where to put this since people can ignore certain topics now, and I wanted as many of the people I talk to on here as possible to see this. First of all, I'm not doing this to get sympathy. I'm one of those people who worries what happened to someone when they stop coming on the zone. So in case any of my friends start wondering what ever happened to me, I'll probably be in the hospital for at least a few days and maybe longer. And no, I'm not taking my computer.
Not only have I been having back spasms that won't let up for three days, but now an ulcer on my right foot that had healed three years ago has opened up.
If any of you pray, I'd appreciate a few prayers. I'm not a very religeous person, but I always appreciate someone saying they'll pray for me.

I hope they figure out the cause of these horendous back spasms and get the ulcer closed before it becomes infected.

well both are troublesome to have
Yet to have BOTH at the same time
and in all this hot weather
I should think that so ultra un-comfortable you
must be feeling.

Libra Lady, I hope you find relief for what sound like painful problems. Come back to the zone as soon as you can. Get some rest so you can get better.

Man, that sounds painful, and I'm sure everyone else who sees this will agree with me; hospitals are not fun, especially if you're there for a prolong period. Best of luck to you...

Wow! I honestly didn't expect to see many responses to my post. Thank you all for your kind words.
Without going into a lot of details, I spent four full days in the hospital and part of a fifth day. Ironically the MRI to look at my back and see what was going on was the most painful part of my hospital experience. It was absolutely excrutiating to have to lie flat on my back on that MRI table. They practically had to give me enough pain meds to kill a horse to get me to lie down for yet a second MRI to see if the infection in my foot had gone clear to the bone.
Bottom line, I'm still having some back pain but no spasms for the last day or two. Foot is definitely infected, and the MRI for my back found another totally unexpected problem which I won't go into detail about. Suffice it to say I am in a lot of trouble healthwise.
That's not good. whatever it is, I hope you are able to recover quickly. best wishes.
